		<description>Thanks for your comment Lucy. I&#039;ll definitely use Pivot again this year and beyond. Once we sort out our network issues, we can hopefully share some of the children&#039;s work on our school site.

Thanks also for recommending Sam Animation - I&#039;d not heard of it before. I&#039;m downloading it now so that I can try it out for myself.

I try to add things to the blog banner as I add posts about different topics... I think I need to add a picture of Wallace &amp; Gromit next!</description>

Pivot Stickfigure Animator is a very powerful program and possibly not used enough in schools.  We had some issues too - unfortunately, we cannot load the pre-made characters.  However, the students have still created some amazing sequences.
Have you seen SAM Animation? http://www.samanimation.com/ It is another free program available for Mac &amp; PC and is part of a lovely program to encourage students to explore areas of Science through animation.  However, you can use it to create any kind of stop-frame animations.
